AI Data Center Infrastructure, Connectivity & Market Intelligence

AI is changing where digital infrastructure is built, how quickly capacity is consumed and what businesses near major data-center markets need to plan for. CompFlorida helps organizations evaluate the technology, connectivity and vendor implications of this growth without pretending to be a data-center developer, operator or investment adviser.

2026 market conditions

CBRE reported in August 2026 that construction across eight primary North American data-center markets reached 7,481 MW in the first half of the year, with more than 80% of under-construction capacity already preleased. Northern Virginia remains the largest inventory market, while Atlanta became the most active construction market and Dallas-Fort Worth continues to expand rapidly.

Where CompFlorida fits

CompFlorida can support national connectivity and carrier sourcing, fiber and redundancy strategy, network infrastructure planning, multi-location technology, structured cabling and facility-technology coordination where within scope, and vendor management.
